Dr. Rebeca Andrade has 22 years of public school experience, ranging from classroom teaching to central office administration. Her service also includes early education and expanded learning, two systems that provide a human developmental and social emotional focus in grades PreK-8. Dr. Andrade has presented at various state educational conferences and her academic research focuses on STEM practices, policies, and implementation in all learning ecosystems. She serves on the CALSA Board and on the state's Expanded Learning Division sustainability workgroup. She is the founder of "A Taste of Yoga," a wellness initiative providing free mindfulness and accessible yoga to the community. Her lifelong interests are creating inclusive spaces and empowering the voices of educators and students who are minoritized.
